About LOT
Living on your own for the first time, or arriving at the city of Eindhoven without knowing anyone; it’s not easy. And what could be nicer than already meeting your first friend? LOT is your first friend in Eindhoven. LOT is there to welcome you, to connect you with other students and to give you a place to live. No matter where you are from. On the other hand; you are there to help building the LOT community.
Unfortunately, at this moment it’s not possible to register as an ambassador of the community. But it’s still possible to register for a residence in Castor, Pollux or Terra. Keep in mind that you have, or will be a fulltime student at the TU/e campus: TU/e, Fontys or Summa. And that you have to be registered as a houseseeker at Vestide.
There is no separate waiting list, but the residences will be advertised on Vestide’s website in mid-May/June, then you can respond. If you want to be updated you will be notified.
Become an
ambassador
At this moment, it’s unfortunately not possible to register as an ambassador for the LOT community.
As an ambassador of LOT, you are expected to actively participate in building the LOT community. Therefore we organize various (online) meetings. To get to know each other and to share ideas. How exactly your role will look like will be defined together with you in the near future.
Profile of a LOT ambassador
- You have good energy and you are enthusiastic
- You are open to meet people from all over the world
- You do what you say, say what you do
- You are open to growth, both personal and for the community
- You believe in building together
- You are a student on TU/e campus
- You have at least 8 hours per month time for LOT
- You are registered at Vestide, or are going to register right now 😉
You get a LOT
- When you contribute to the LOT community you get a chance to get a student room in one of the new Vestide-buildings on the TU/e campus
- Make friends for life among the (future) LOT residents
- Get all the information you’ll need as a student in Eindhoven
- Get a chance to design and create your own living space
- Get a chance to use and develop your talents
Meet LOT at the
Makerspace
Get together and meet other students in the Makerspace. This is a temporary meeting place near the construction site. The hotspot of LOT! In the Makerspace, you can meet each other, be creative, or just chill together.
We are also available every Tuesday (16:00 to 17:00) and Thursday (12:30 to 13:30) to answer all your questions. Feel free to drop by. We are happy to welcome you!
